Are Memorial Cards laminated?

No, we don’t laminate our products. In fact, we use a better solution than lamination.

We have two options. Our two stock options include:

• Thicker Card Stock (economy alternative)
• Polyester Stock

Polyester Stock (10mil) is an extremely durable, waterproof, tear-proof, and weatherproof stock. Plus, recently our synthetic paper stock become antimicrobial. It is protected against 99.9% of bacteria, viruses, fungi and mold from growing on the sheet’s surface overtime.

Thicker Card Stock, or 130lb Cover, is a thicker gloss cardstock (350 GSM) with a smooth feel. It is not laminated. For a quick comparison, this paper stock is most popularly used for invitations.

Why don’t we laminate? We found that overtime laminated cards can easily peal on each corner and side. A memorial product should last a long time, that’s why we have selected a more premium polyester stock.
